My boyfriend found a drawing of a girl in a black dress with a pitchfork and a pentagram. What does it mean?
He was home alone && no one else was there && he found it just sitting on the kitchen table. The whole thing was drawn with something black. There’s a girl with a pitchfork, a pentagram, An open black box, a black filled in circle, and a black (chess looking piece) with wings on it. We’re just trying to figure out what it might mean. If anyone knows please comment!
Well if it just appeared there, some would take it as an omen of some sort.
The whole thing seems quite wiggan/witch/etc -y. The pitchfork could represent angry people, who used common household items to kill “witches” in the past. Pentagrams mean a host of things, occult, witches, magic, etc – they all have ties with it. Black box and circle could be anything – Circle usually has something to do with life, a neverending line… The chess piece is probably some marking of some sort, ‘chess looking pieces’ and wings come to my mind as some form of family crest or medieval English icon.
Overall, seems very suspicious. If it did appear with no other explanation, it was either planted there, or some people would take it as an omen of some kind. What it denotes, however, would need a deeper look.

Excerpt: Gorgoroth is a Norwegian black metal band based in Bergen, Norway. The band was founded in 1992 by Infernus (who’s also the only original member remaining), and the name was derived from J. R. R. Tolkien’s fantasy novel The Lord of the Rings in which Gorgoroth is a dead plateau of evil and darkness in the land of Mordor. Gorgoroth was formed in 1992 by guitarist Infernus. In 1993, the band released their first demo, entitled A Sorcery Written in Blood. On January 7, 1994, Firda, the major newspaper in the county of Sogn og Fjordane where the band originated from, ran a cover story on the demo, with the headline “Local music with Satanic symbolism”. According to the article, the release of the demo and flyers with Satanic symbols led to “concerned parents contacting the Sheriff’s Office in Fjaler”. After the demo was released, Gorgoroth signed a record deal with Embassy Productions and started work on their debut full-length Pentagram. When bassist Kjettar left the band in 1993, Samoth of Emperor joined Gorgoroth as their new bassist, and participated in the recording of the album. After Pentagram was completed and released in 1994, Goat left the band and was replaced by Frost from Satyricon.
